The Rite strikes me as a movie close to the Christian heart as it does bring chills for those lacking in faith, as depicted in the movie. There's less movie effects in the movie, but the plot of the movie was wicked enough to make you glued. If you are a Christian, you'd leave the movie hall feeling refreshed over your religion and how it can make a difference in your life. It would also make you think of what have you done for 'Him', despite what 'He' has done for you. Overall, I enjoyed the movie although it wouldn't beat the very first movie involving exorcism, which is The Exorcist.
